Hex Rush (Demo)
In-development game with many features still in development! This is my very first game, making this is a learning experience more than anything else. I will aim to release at least 1 major update every month! I have a lot of work cut out for me with this project.

An Android version will be released soon!!!
Device Requirements:
Windows x86_64 is the only platform I was able to optimize for. All other platforms will be optimized when the game is fully out!
🪟Windows x86_64:
- Drive Space: 50MB
- RAM: ~150MB
🪟Windows arm64:
- Drive Space: 93MB
- RAM: ~150MB
🐧Linux x86_64:
- Drive Space: 70MB
- RAM: ???
🐧Linux arm64:
- Drive Space: 63MB
- RAM: ???
Playing on Web:
Playing the Web version of the game may not be as smooth as playing locally for many reasons. I will continue to polish the experience as much as possible however there are just some things that cannot be overcome.
Here are some very important points to keep in mind when considering playing the Web version of the game:
Technical Issues:
- No multi-threading. Implementing multi-threading to utilize more of your CPU is a huge hassle & not even supported for some browsers. So Hex Rush will have to do without it for now.
This will lead to minor stuttering, & longer loading times. - On IOS there is a limit to the amount of RAM a webpage can use, the limit can vary between devices, but is still a tight limit regardless of the device you use.
This will lead to the game potentially crashing when RAM usage it too high.
I am working on optimizing RAM usage for the Web version so it is a smoother experience for those on IOS.
General Issues:
- The Level Editor track marker's movement is choppy. I am not sure what the reason is for this, but it only happens on the Web version.
- The Level Editor doesn't slow the track marker down when the audio speed is set below 1x. Again, only an issue on the Web version so I am unsure why this is happening.
